We need partners April 21, 2008

Hello world!
We need partners. InfoSignz is growing everyday and we need companies and organizations who can create meaningful partnerships with us to enable all of us to grow and take advantage of global growth in this medium.
We are looking out for partners in the following areas.
Hardware
Partners who can provide hardware for us – so that we can sell them to our clients in various geographies. The basic idea behind the partnership would be team up with a hardware set top provider so that our software goes on their hardware as default and the customer would just need to start the box and it would automatically point to InfoSignz. Something with a logo like “Ready for InfoSignz on the box”
Our intention is really to drive revenues from customer acquisition, rather than get a cut out of the hardware. I believe this is a good performance based partnership program.
Content
One thing that I have blogged about earlier is the fact that many people using digital signage are either not bothered about putting the right content or just lack education on what kind of content would be best for their network.
We are looking for partners who can provide content to our customers. Our customers are from 85 different countries and various industry verticals and backgrounds. I am sure all of them are finding it difficult to create meaningful content to run on their screens. Many would probably be not aware of the kind of content that they need to put on their screens. Many others might not be using digital signage systems because they do not have the resources to build such content.
We are looking for partners who can create this content for our customers. The content could be generalized for a wide audience – (like a cartoon strip channel) and people could sign up to use the feed and pay per use, or could be a very specific customized content for one customer. Either way, our goals are
- To increase usage of our system by providing our customers a one stop shop to source their content
- Gain through the pay per use model by providing content on a per use basis with a revenue share with our partner
If you are interested in any of the above, please do contact us at sales@infosignz.com

Rajiv – thanks for your comment.
Adobe restricts using set top or non PC based devices for digital signage which use an embedded OS like Windows XP Embedded. There is no restriction when you use a full OS like Windows XP Home or professional or Linux Ubuntu.
Hope this clarifies. Let me know if we can be of any help in developing your digital signage network.
Regards
David – thanks very much for your inputs. Will contact you shortly.

We provide free content and network management to businesses, primarily restaurants. We just found out about infosignz and have signed up for several “test” accounts. We feel our free basic service, together with your free software creates some interesting possibilities. We also charge for “premium” services. We are quickly expanding and would be very interested in exploring the opportunities with infosignz. Thanks.
